Clinician/Mental Health Counselor (per diem)

Location: Providence

Position Overview: Providence Student Union seeks an independently licensed Clinician/Mental Health Counselor (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) who is skilled, flexible, and devoted to our mission of building student power to improve young people’s education and well-being. This position is primarily responsible for providing direct individual counseling services for youth ages 14-18 during after school drop-in hours, with the potential for supervising additional social work or counseling interns as needed. We work within intersectional frameworks with a focus on social justice and equity, and we are seeking clinicians who will conduct therapy service through this same lens. Applicants with relevant lived experience as a member of historically underrepresented communities (particularly BIPOC and LGBTQ+ identities) are highly encouraged to apply.
